For students/practitioners, specializing in supporting those with mental illness in Korean-American communities
Description: The Paul Lee Foundation was established to raise awareness and resources, and support for those struggling with mental or emotional health. As a way to do so, the Paul Lee Foundation is looking for humble and passionate candidates who are being trained (or practicing) to support the needy with empathy and professional skills. The scholarships are primarily available to students/practitioners, specializing in counseling and mental health support, with an anticipation to serve the Korean-American communities in the aspect. Applicants must have successfully completed one or more academic years of higher education (graduate) with a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Applicant’s Personal Statement (Please include the followings: Conversion Testimony, Why pursuing this study/ministry, How the current program is enriching your life and profession, & Future Plans): 2-4 pages single space
A scanned copy of a transcript from the most recent academic semester
A recommendation letter from a pastor of the church in attendance (or home church)
An additional referee’s contact information from an academic institution (We will contact the referee only if we need to, and the applicant will be informed/consulted about that before we contact the academic referee)
