Paul was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon. He was the middle child of Peter and Mira Lee, growing up between his younger sister, Alicia, and older brother, Albert. He attended Bethany Elementary, Stoller Middle School, and then Westview High School, before heading off to Seattle Pacific University. Paul enjoyed cooking, dancing, and hanging out with his friends, but many would say that his favorite thing to do was put smiles on people’s faces.
In his free time, Paul often lent a hand at his parents’ restaurant or found other ways to serve. Once a month he would go to Shepherd’s Door, a women’s shelter, where he prepared and served dinner for the women and children. With his heart on his sleeve, Paul poured out his love constantly, cherishing every friendship he had. He was frequently seen crowded by groups of little kids; he always knew how to make them laugh and feel comfortable. Paul's generosity made a lasting impression on his community. Although he has left us, may his light inspire us to become sincere individuals who live full of compassion.
